Municipal Court

The Dalworthington Gardens Municipal Court has jurisdiction over all fine-only offenses that have been committed within the Dalworthington Gardens city limits.

These offenses include Class C Misdemeanors, traffic offenses and city ordinance violations. The court collects fines, conducts trials by jury and judge and issues warrants of arrest. The municipal judge arraigns prisoners arrested within the city limits in all types of felony and misdemeanor violations and performs other magistrate duties.

Individuals receiving citations must respond to the court within 20 working days from the issuing date of the violation. Please allow 3-business days for the court to receive a case. Appearance can be made by counsel, mail or the person to whom the citation was issued.

Online Payment

By paying your fine(s) online, you understand and agree to the following.

Important Information When Paying for Active Arrest Warrants

You may pay an active arrest warrant using this online payment system but you remain subject to arrest until the court has accepted your payment as a plea of no contest and processed the case for final disposition. No payment is considered received until the Judge signs the Judgment and the case has been processed. Until that time, you are still subject to arrest. To ensure you are out of a warrant status immediately, you must appear at the municipal court to pay your warrant.

Online payment will result in a conviction and will be reported to the Texas Department of Public Safety and forfeits any right to request a driving safety class or deferred disposition for possible dismissal of your citation.

By paying online, you understand and agree that you are entering a guilty plea and waiving your right to a trial by jury, trial by judge, hire an attorney, and subpoena witnesses.

Online Payments Cannot Be Made for the Following

    • Alcohol, Drug, or Tobacco Violations
    • Juveniles (age 16 or younger at the time of the citation)
    • Payment of Deferred Disposition
    • Payment of Driving Safety Course
    • Dismissal Fees
