Department of Public Works
The Public Works Department is responsible for overseeing the public welfare through the design, construction and maintenance of streets, drainage systems, water distribution and wastewater, city fleet and city buildings, flood plain management, water conservation, and administering and directing all activities of Public Works. Regular office hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm. However, the Public Works Department works on water main breaks whenever they occur. The Public Works Department responds to citizen inquiries and strives to provide quality service.
