Full-time Public Works
Job Description:
This position involves the construction, installation, maintenance and repairs of municipal streets, parks, right-of-ways, and water/sewer distribution system. Other duties include meter reading & and regular maintenance of municipal facilities. Applicant’s schedule should be flexible for some after hours/weekend hours and should keep in mind the strenuous physical outdoor conditions.
Job Requirements:
- Must possess H.S. Diploma or GED.
- Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment drug screening
- Must possess and maintain a valid Class C Texas motor vehicle operator’s license.
- Must be able to obtain Class D water and wastewater licenses within one year from hire.
- Experience in operating excavation equipment such as backhoe, loader and other specialized equipment preferred but not a must
Public Works Seasonal Part-time
This position Involves working outdoors, assisting with public works operations.
Position pays $9.00/hour.
- Must possess H.S. Diploma or GED.
- Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment drug screening
- Must possess and maintain a valid Class C Texas motor vehicle operator’s license.
