City Administrator

Wade Calhoun

Wade received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science/Public Administration and a minor in Business Administration from Youngstown State University, and later, his Master of Public Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington.  He began his municipal career with the City of Fort Worth, working for the library and then with the water department in the business services division. Wade also served as the administrative services manager for the City of Hudson Oaks before moving to the private sector, where he worked in the manufacturing finance division of a global pharmaceutical company headquartered in Fort Worth.

Wade came to Dalworthington Gardens in 2016 as the finance director. He was appointed city administrator by the Dalworthington Gardens Council in February 2017. 

Wade spends his time away from the city with his wife Sara, who owns and operates a dance retail store in Weatherford, and his two daughters Reagan and Kennedy.
