City Council

The Dalworthington Gardens City Council includes the Mayor and five Council members.

The Mayor is elected at- large and represents the City.

The City Council members serve two-year staggered terms, with elections every May.

City Council meetings are held on the third Thursday of every month at 7:00pm at City Hall.

Council members are expected to attend regular City Council meetings and to serve as liasons to different advisory committees. Each Council member has an equal vote on all action taken by the Council. Agendas are posted 72 hours before each meeting in the foyer of City Hall. Council Minutes are not posted until the following month of the meeting after they have been approved by Council.
